Skeleton Warrior

Shambling, armoured, and completely unimpressed by your sword. The reason you carry a club.

The demo uses this enemy as its blunt lesson in damage types. Bladed weapons ring off the bone and armour; a club’s overhead swing puts it down. It is also slow enough that a bad swing is survivable, which makes it a fair teacher.

What is worth noticing is where it appears. The skeleton is a crypt enemy, so the lesson lands after the shore has already taught you to value one committed swing. By the time a blade fails against it, you have a habit of picking your moment, and the game uses that habit against you: the correct weapon is the one with the longest wind-up.

That combination is the demo’s best argument that its combat is not a simple triangle. Impact beats the skeleton, but impact also hands the initiative to anything fast. The player who solves the skeleton by switching to a club has to solve the next room by switching back, and the slot system exists so that choice costs a moment rather than a run.

The entry stays at this level of detail because the sources do. Nothing published states its health, its poise, or whether it can be staggered by anything other than impact, and the demo does not display any of it.
